500 days of summer

watched 500 days of summer @ Eastwood Cinema. It's a nice movie, cute,
not our typical love story - Summer and Tom have different views on love...

Summer, who had always attracted the attention of men did not believe in relationships; but for Tom, from the first time he saw Summer, knew very much that she was the right woman for him...the woman whom he will spend the rest of his life with.

I won't tell the story of course, but I love the part when they went to the Ikea store and acted like married couple....they're crazy! and I cried on the part when they saw each other in the park, after she got married. Well, Tom may have lost Summer but at least in the end, he met Autumn (",)

I didn't write this to make a review on the movie...made this blog coz I want to say that I love Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt)!

I love my life. I care for my self.

Dear God,

If this is your will then I will be glad and be very much willing to accept it. Please show
me a sign that this is really for me. If not, please God, don't leave my side...guide me, protect me..

God there's just one wish I have today. I just need a simple job, something that will sustain me.
A job that I can enjoy (and still enjoy the company of my friends)

God I don't want to lose my sanity. I love my life.

We can do this!

Tck Tck Tck… the time has come to make a stand, it’s for the earth…it’s for our land…

This has been an issue for years now. I remember during my grade school days, there were already some environmental advocates. But people ignored their call and now we’re paying for it. We saw the results not just in our country but all over the world – extreme weather - flood, landslide, rising temperatures, melting ice caps, rising sea levels, D-E-A-T-H… We should act together to help the dying earth and give a clear future for our children and grandchildren.

Tck Tck Tck….we can still do something, there’s still time to change. Spread the word, invite your family and friends to join this biggest online petition to resolve the climate crisis. Support this campaign and become a Climate Ally.

Crónica Visual del Cine Español: A Visual Treat of the Spanish Cinema

Crónica Visual del Cine Español: A Visual Treat of the Spanish Cinema

Take a walk through time and history of the Spanish cinema as Instituto Cervantes de Manila presents Crónica Visual del Cine Español (A Visual Chronicle of Spanish Cinema), a photo exhibit showcasing illustrative images of different Spanish flicks from October 8 to 31 at the De La Salle University- College of St. Benilde (DLSU-CSB).

Crónica Visual del Cine Español showcases a historical journey whose objective is to answer questions and at the same time provoke an emotive and reflexive understanding toward Spanish cinematography.

The photo exhibit begins with a chronological overview of Spanish cinema, from its origins until today. It features a total of 80 photographs and 20 posters composed of some of the most important and memorable scenes of the Spanish cinema then divided into ten periods.

Based from the book Cine Español una Crónica Visual by Jesús García de Dueñas, the exhibit intends to take cinema back to its imaginary sense and underscore its importance as a social space.

“This exhibit is a good way to review history and understand the evolution of the Spanish cinema from its origin in 1896 to today. An opportunity to point out again a small but important part of the cinema, that so many good moments make us live,” said Instituto Cervantes director Jose Rodriguez.

Running from October 8 to 31, take a peek into images and emotions of the Spanish cinema in a special offering brought to you by Instituto Cervantes.

As part of the celebrations of Película, the biggest annual Spanish Film Festival in Asia, this exhibit will show you a mosaic of the most recurrent themes and features of Spanish cinema.

Crónica Visual del Cine Español is organized by Instituto Cervantes, in cooperation with the Spanish Embassy in the Philippines, AECID, Ministerio de Cultura of Spain, Filmoteca del Ministerio de AA.EE. de España, Cine en Construcción, Spanish Program for Cultural Cooperation, Philippine-Spanish Friendship Day, LRT, MRT, Cultural Center of the Philippines, College of St. Benilde, Greenbelt and Ayala Malls Cinemas.
